How to Use the Tithe Calculator

Follow these steps to calculate your tithe and giving amounts.

  1. 1

    Choose your income type

Select whether you earn an hourly wage or an annual salary. If hourly, enter your hourly rate and average hours worked per week.

  2. 2

    Select gross or net

Choose whether to base your tithe on gross income (before taxes) or net income (after taxes). Gross is the default and most common approach.

  3. 3

    Set your tithe percentage

The default is 10%, but you can adjust the slider or type any percentage that reflects your giving commitment.

  4. 4

    Choose your giving frequency

Select how often you want to give: weekly, bi-weekly, semi-monthly, monthly, or annually. The calculator will show your tithe amount for that period.

  5. 5

    Add optional offerings

If you give additional offerings or first fruits above your tithe, enter that amount. The calculator will show your total giving per period and per year.
